2013 Youth Tour to Gallipoli

In April 2013, a unique collaboration between Friends of Gallipoli and three Melbourne schools will see 12 young Australians take part in a friendship Youth Tour.  The group will visit several key historic sites and take part in 2013 Anzac Day ceremonies at Gallipoli.  Participating schools are:

Roxburgh College

Hume Central College
Penola Catholic College

Prior Anzac Day Tours

Past tours have involved schools from Melbourne, Adelaide and Turkey.  Students from these schools have been among past tour members:

Brighton Grammar School
  Eastern Fleurieu School

Most schools considering an Anzac Day student tour to Turkey depend on Friends of Gallipoli for assistance with fundraising.  The organisation is experienced in developing sponsorship proposals and developing tour programs that meet school and supporter objectives.  Some of the fundraising possibilities Friends of Gallipoli may assist with include:

  • Grant applications
  • Attracting donations
  • Public subscriptions
